Public bug reported:
Ubuntu Software Center 5.0.1.5, Ubuntu 11.10
1. Navigate to the home screen.
2. Enter some text in the search field.
3. Navigate to "Installed".
4. Enter some text in the search field.
5. Navigate to "All Software".
6. Navigate to "Installed".
What happens:
5. USC returns to the top level "All Software" screen, without any search text.
6. USC returns to search results (except that the clear search button has disappeared).
What should happen:
6. USC returns to the top level "Installed" screen, without any search text.
I've just realized this was unclear in the specification, because the
difference between the top-level screen and search results is much less
for "Installed" than it is for "All Software". I've clarified this now.
