I reported it almost 9 months ago.....somehow I think I gave up on
Ubuntu.

Bug description:
Binary package hint: ubiquity
Installing vers 10 from DVD.
System did have MS Vista previous - told installer to use entire disk
and delete any existing data. Previously tried to install it alongside
MS Vista on a partitioned drive but installer also crashed.
