Title:
Linux Mint LXDE 11 installation from USB failed on ASUS Eee PC 701

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I made a live USB from a Linux Mint LXDE 11 .iso image using
UNetbootin. Then I launched it on Asus Eee PC 701 (it does not have a
CD drive). Linux Mint started successfully and worked fine without
installing. (I had created a GUID partition table on the SSD for the
system to be installed). The installation went fine until it reached
localization settings. Then an error occurred, and the installation
was stopped. What caused the error? I am going to attach
  /var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman.
