I have found so many problems with this update that I am giving up on
it.  I'm going to try a clean install, try the apps I need if I have the
same problems I will go back to 11.04.  One interesting problem.
Clicking from any app that opened the file manager to display the
contents of the folde i.e. download a pdf with chrome, click open folder
containing the pdf brings up vlc instead of the file manage.  After I do
a clean install and reinstall my apps, I'lllet you know what happens.

  I have a pretty generic system 11.04. Installed it a little over a
  week ago.  I have two packages install that did not come from Ubuntu
  one is google's Ardesia and Webcamstudio.
