[Bug 875005] [NEW] upgrade from narwhal to ocelot failed

Public bug reported:

I was upgrading via the package manager. I had an initial error caused
by a line in the sources file (pointing to R libraries), but I commented
this out and restarted and everything seemed fine.

I left the upgrade unattended. All downloading went fine. When I came
back there was a window saying there'd been a problem with the flash-
installer but that the rest of the upgrade should be ok. So I proceeded.

Then I got a window saying that there had been an error and my system
might be in an unusable state etc. and for me to submit this bug report
with the contents of /var/log/dist-upgrade attached.

My network connectivity was gone, so I rebooted. Still no wireless, so I
connected to my router via an Ethernet cable to do this.

There are system notifications regarding Nepomuk Indexing being disabled
and indexing of the data stored in Akonadi PIM service being disabled so
perhaps this is related to the known issues there.
