Title:
/usr/bin/w returns an empty list of users...

Status in “procps” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Tested with latest daily xubuntu.

Expected: get the list of logged on users with /usr/bin/w (linked from /usr/bin/w.procps)
  What happened: empty list...

Since this is a core feature, i consider it critical for release.

Affects : Ubuntu 11.10 oneiric (Xubuntu)
  procps 1:3.2.8-10ubuntu5
