Title:
Feature request: Progress indicator in update window (x MB of y MB
downloaded)
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Bug description:
Ubuntu 11.10
During the download of the updates you can only see the progress in
numbers by checking Details -> see single packages. Not very usable if
there are a lot of packages. Wish: An indicator in the update window,
where the progress bar is, which indicates the amount of downloaded
packages in MB, the total amount of needed packages in MB, the
percentage of progress of the download and maybe even an estimated
time for the rest of the download.
