Title:
installing 11.10 with 3rd party software results in a crash

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
When choosing to install Ubuntu with 3rd party software enabled the
installer tries to install Adobe Flash from archive.canonical.com and
the partner repository. This site is experiencing heavy load and
subsequently the installation of Adobe Flash may fail resulting in the
  installer, ubiquity, crashing.

This can be worked around by choosing not to install 3rd party
software and installing flash at a later date.
