Public bug reported:
Trying to install Ubuntu 11.10 on my computer this evening and found
that after choosing the language, enabling download updates and third-
party software, the installer basically slows to a stop during this. No
apparent activity or anything. It just stops.
Skimming the debug log gives me no info at all, and deselecting the
download updates and third-party software changes nothing. It seems to
be hanging on probing the drives. If needed I can provide both lspci,
fdisk -l and other info you might deem relevant.
** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
