Title:
Can't boot Ubuntu - Black Screen - Probably drivers?

Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Hi, I have an HP pavilion g6 1215ev, it has a AMD cpu and AMD gpu, everytime i boot ubuntu from a cd or a usb, opens the purple screen and just goes black forever! I tried other distribution too, but i had the same results ( i tried Mint, fentora 15, Debian,). some of the distributions just stuck on a command line forever. I searched the internet about this and found that possibly is an issue with the drivers, i tried to run it with radeon.modeset=0, noapic=off, xforcevesa but nothing happened! i tried both 32bit and amd64 versions. Only distribution that booted and is installed completely is openSUSE 11.04
It must be the graphics drivers.
