[Bug 772415] Re: Ubuntu 11.04 hangs waiting timezone window

I'm marking it fix released going on the assumption that it's because
you had connectivity issue to geoip.ubuntu.com or ntp.ubuntu.com.

The installer that will be shipped in the next daily builds (if not
already in the current ones) simply skips that part of the process if
internet connectivity isn't detected. Timeouts have also been changed so
that it takes less time giving up on internet connectivity test.

** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
       Status: Confirmed => Fix Released

Title:
Ubuntu 11.04 hangs waiting timezone window

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Hi.

I had been complaining about this bug but nobody gave me an answer.
  Please check bug 733498.

Basically, when you try to install Ubuntu 11.04 (ANY alpha, beta and
now, 11.04 final, just released) it hangs in the Time Zone window and
you can't go on with the install process.

  Best Regards.

  Turbo.
