Bug description:
  On a system with a fully updated oneiric installation, syslog is full
  of:

  Oct  7 11:32:05 $hostname kernel: [ 7332.859460] init: ttyS1 main process (17271) terminated with status 1
  Oct  7 11:32:05 $hostname kernel: [ 7332.859485] init: ttyS1 main process ended, respawning

  
  This bug is most likely related to the activated Intel AMT (vPro) Serial-over-Lan terminals on this machine.
