[Bug 838161] Re: guided partitoning for entire disk creates empty partitions

I also just tried with the 64bit version that I downloaded Monday. This
time the installation completed with no problems, but the partitions are
still the same (I again created a completely new /dev/sdb/ that I used
for installation)

  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Platform: VirtualBox 4.0.12 r72916 on Ubuntu 10.04 2.6.38-11 generic
  OS: [Kubuntu] oneiric-desktop-i386.iso (Beta 1 20110831)

  Steps to reproduce:
  1) Start machine with Live CD present
  2) Select "Start Kubuntu"
  3) Choose Swedish language
  4) Select "Install Kubuntu"
  5) Click "Forward" to get to the disk partition options
  6) Select "Guided" and "Entire Disk"
  7) Complete installation with default options
  8) Wait for installation to complete
  9) Open a terminal and enter "sudo sfdisk -l"

  Expected Result:
  - 3 partitions, 1 swap, 1 Linux and 1 extended

  Actual Result
  - 5 partitions, 1 swap, 1 Linux, 1 extended and 2 empty

  Here is the result of my "sudo sfdisk -l" (Sorry it's in Swedish, but
  basically it lists sda3 and sda4 as empty ("Tom").
