You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Started an upgrade from 10.10 to 11.04, left the upgrade to run during
the night (slow connection), but during the night the connection was
broken, halting the upgrade. I tried again to request the upgrade, but
now cannot get the "Upgrade" button to appear in Update Manager. Made
sure checkboxes in Update Manager settings were correct per
recommendations, and even tried changing some temporarily (changed US
server to Main Server, and back again, selected checkboxes for all
available update types, etc. Frequency of upgrade prompting is set to
Daily. It has now been one day since I last tried to upgrade, so that
doesn't seem to be the cause. I need to upgrade for the software I
need to use. Why is this happening to me???
