Public bug reported:
When I run "locate .r", I get thousands of encrypted files:

...and so forth. Clearly, updatedb is running amok, looking at the
encrypted form of my disk. (I took the Ubuntu option to encrypt my home
directory). I presume this happens when I leave my machine on
overnight and I am not logged in. When not logged in, my disk is
probably encrypted, but updatedb scans it anyway...
