Public bug reported:

Currently the update manager displays the following text on automatic
updates "If you don't want to install them now, choose "Update Manager"
from Applications later." However update manager is no longer found in
the applications menue it is found by typing in the dash or under the
menu on the top left of the screen where you log out.

I am using 11.10 default.
