Title:
Extras/independent repo not recognized in Precise

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
While I used "update-manager" to file this bug it's not really an
update-manager bug. I just didn't know how else to file this.

After installing with the Ubuntu i386 20111129 live image during
Precise Alpha 1 iso-testing I decided to try installing some packages
and I get a failure during "update" because the Extras/Independent
repo doesn't recognize "precise" so I must edit the software source
  list to "oneiric" to proceed.

Should the existing Oneiric extras/independent list be ported to
Precise, or is it as simple as a rename?
