Title:
ubiquity crashed with InstallStepError in configure_bootloader()

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

This is probably a duplicate of closed/dormant bug 71984, but I have
opened a new one because it occurred on Intrepid alpha 4 and I want to
be sure you have an up-to-date set of documentation.

I suspect the crash is caused by my choice of an install that has
fallen outside the validation box. I was trying to install a
standalone intrepid system on a new partition of a multiboot machine.
However, in manual partitioning I did NOT mount the existing grub
partition as /boot. I guess the install was confused when trying to
install another grub boot loader. I will retry the installation with
  the existing /boot mounted.
