Title:
Constant comp non start up blank page and dismay with Gnome Do also
cannot any longer update my comp

Status in “dpkg” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: dpkg

Hi i initally had problems with Gnome Do and the warnings in my control center see bug or comment 625317. I feel very upset and deeply annoyed my your lack of willingness to help. I feel at the time my problem was too easily at the time pushed under the carpet or set to invalid when i've started having terrible trouble with Ubuntu 9.10
I may have made the mistake of deleting one key with regards to Gnome Do but for some strange reason i cannot get anything to update in safe mode before normal start up as everything showed failed and also today i had a major problem even to start up my computer which took several attempts. Its completely unstable at the moment.!!!

My (system - administration - update manager) offers me updates but i think i need the Gnome Do key to remove Gnome Do and its components permanently see 625317
I need a new set of software values, new header and dpkg and have no interest in a complete system update because if i'm getting these problems with the continuing blank screen on start up the next Ubuntu may do the same.

Why when i had a perfectly stable computer a couple of weeks back then
after the last header update and the Gnome Do installation and re-
installation have i ended up with a disaster on my hands ???

If you can't help me your side of the ocean then at least pass it on
to someone else in the UK

  Thanks
