Failing to rename /var/lib/dpkg/info/openoffice.org-gtk.list-new to
/var/lib/dpkg/info/openoffice.org-gtk.list with "operation not
permitted" looks really strange because 1/ we're root 2/ if we can
create a file, we can usually rename it.

I fear there's something fishy with a kernel security module in this
installation and dpkg is not to blame. If you have supplementary
information to confirm / disprove, please share.

  Received a bunch of broken packages when upgrading from 9.04 to 9.10.
  Tried to fix or remove them. Got stuck at  openoffice.org-gtk. Can't
  fix or remove.
