I'm unduplicating the duplicates. This is a generic error message that

Title:
"Could not calculate the upgrade" error when moving from 11.04 to
11.10
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
This is Ubuntu 11.04 x64. When upgrading from 11.04 to 11.10, it first
gives a "Some third-party packages disabled" warning, followed by the
"Could not calculate the upgrade" error. The upgrade rolls back after
then.
