I'm unduplicating the duplicates. This is a generic error message that
may be due to completely different causes.

Bug description:
  This is Ubuntu 11.04 x64. When upgrading from 11.04 to 11.10, it first
  gives a "Some third-party packages disabled" warning, followed by the
  "Could not calculate the upgrade" error. The upgrade rolls back after
  then.
