You'll probably run across kernel bug 893395 when you try to test with
this fix; it manifests as a failure to mount the /boot filesystem. I
thought I'd mention it to save anyone else the effort of tracking it
down.

Title:
encrypted LVM install fails with "unsafe swap space detected"

Status in “partman-crypto” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
Precise, Ubuntu-server AMD64, under KVM virtIO. Installing the ISO as
a encrypted LVM (whole disk) fails with "unsafe space detected".
Nevertheless, the single swap space created is under the encrypted LVM
  space.

Tested with the 20111115 ISO, while trying to reproduce another issue
(3.2 kernel loops with error messages after mounting a whole-disk
encrypted LVM, still to open a bug on it).
