  Using Hamachi/quamachi to connect to windows network from Ubuntu 9.04

Status in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I've managed to install both hamachi 9.9.9-20-lnx and quamachi onto my
  Ubuntu 9,o4 system

  I can join and create networks and can see other computers on the
  network but I can't browse in either direction

  The windows computer's report can't find the directory but ping OK

  The ubuntu shows in the status bar of Quamachi "lauching url browser"
  then it hangs and then it simply reverts back to a connection status
  showing the computers in the hamachi network

  I can browse other computers on the LAN independantly of Hamachi as
  opposed to the internet proper with file manager no problem.

  Do I have to do something with firewalls or open ports

  Or is there another solution
