Bug description:
  I am reverting to Ubuntu 11.04 from Ubuntu 11.10 - I could not fix the
  11.10 frozen purple screen (unable to login) using Ubuntu forum
  suggestions. Crash occurred while installing Ubuntu 11.04 from USB,
  using the 'upgrade Ubuntu 11.10 to 11.04' install gui selection.
