  update-apt-xapian-index uses all cpu time

Status in “apt-xapian-index” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: apt-xapian-index

  When i run software center, it runs the program apt-xapian-index which gets 100% cpu usage.
  How to replicate:
  1. run ubuntu software center
  2. it will run the program update-apt-xapian-index which will take all cpu time
