Title:
nonsensical message: "Hopelessly many bad sectors has been detected"

Status in NTFS-3G:
  New
Status in “ntfs-3g” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
While looking at installation errors, we hit one where this message
  was output. Two issues there:

  1. "hopelessly many bad sectors..." is sort of lacking meaning, and can be safely replaced by a simple "Too many bad sectors..."
  2. concordance: "... many bad sectors has..." should be "...many bad sectors have..."
