Title:
slabtop --once seems to exit without output
Status in “procps” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: procps
According to slabtop --help, I should be able to say -o or --once and
see just one display, then it should exit. But it just runs without
any visible output:
baron at kanga:~$ slabtop --once
baron at kanga:~$ slabtop --once
If I pipe it into less, I see that it in fact does output some stuff,
but then apparently wipes the terminal clean as curses exits (?).
The desired behavior should be to print the output to STDOUT without
using curses, just like 'top -n 1' does.
My system is
baron at kanga:~$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 8.10
Release: 8.10
