Title:
  please enable "prepend domain-name-servers 127.0.0.1;"

Status in “isc-dhcp” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
While investigating ways to always append Google's DNS servers to my
laptop's resolv.conf, I fell upon an Ubuntu Forum thread describing
  how uncommenting "prepend domain-name-servers 127.0.0.1;"
significantly improves DNS resolving speed. I tried it and, sure
enough, it really does. Among other things, whereas it used to be
hickuppy and slow, Gnash now runs silky smooth; ditto for any other
streaming application. Even something as simple as "sudo apt-get
update" runs smoother and quicker, once this option has been
  uncommented.

I was thus wondering whether it could be a good idea to ship
/etc/dhcp/dhclient.conf with this option uncommented by default? Is
there any particular reason why someone would prefer not to enable
  this option by default?
