Hi,
Cheers for that - I worked that out in a brilliant flash of inspiration
at ungodly-o-clock the next morning, but I've been down with blood
poisoning for a bit and forgot to mention. Thanks anyway/

Title:
Linux Mint installer crashes in installing
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Installer thing requests this is filed as a new bug rather than
attaching to existing. Brand new hard drive in Samsung NF210,
attempting to instal Linux Mint 11, crashes and tells me that either
the CD/DVD drive is no good (not possible, it's a netbook without one)
or the hard disc is on its way out (better bloody not be, I just had
to have it replaced!)
