[Bug 889797] [NEW] update failes from 11.04 to 11.10

Public bug reported:

I tried to update from Kubuntu 11.04 to 11.10

It fails because sub process /usr/bin/dpkg returns error code (1).

When I run 'ubuntu-bug update-manager' I also receive an error.
