  /sbin directory isn't listed into default users $PATH

Status in “bash” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  On a just fully upgraded from 11.04 Oneiric beta the default user env
  PATH is

   echo $PATH
  /usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/games

  so commands like ifconfig are to be called with /sbin/ifconfig or run
  by root sudo ifconfig
