Title:
wrong warning about unsupported Ubuntu release when upgrading to
  precise

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Running update-manager -d to upgrade from oneiric to precise, I get a
  pop-up with the following message:

Your Ubuntu release is not supported anymore.

You will not get any further security fixes or critical updates.
Please upgrade to a later version of Ubuntu Linux.

This is obviously incorrect, as 11.10 is still supported and 12.04 is
not /yet/ supported but will be in the future. Maybe this is a
warning specific to -d upgrades, but it's still wrong and we should
make sure it won't affect users running the stable releases.
