  upgraded to 11.10 from 11.04 and i have no top borders for any program

Bug description:
  I did an upgrade from 11.04 to 11.10. All windows that pull up, have
  no top border, so i cant move, maximize or kill a program. i have to
  alt+4 everything or quit in unity desktop.
