Thanks for your bug report. Could you please run the following command in a terminal:
apport-collect 887386

After you do that please make sure apport attached the files in var/log
/dist-upgrade, and if they weren't attached please manually attach them.

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Ugrade being done inside kubuntu. System is 64 bit system with nvidia
  driver. kernel is 2.6.37-12-generic.  I am trying to upgrade from the
  previous kubuntu version, 10.(something).

  Error message was "Could not calculate the upgrade".
