Status in “ldm” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
  when ldm is in french, the message "Pas de réponse du serveur,
  redémarrage..." isn't completely written on screen (the first word is
  missing) when having an authentication issue.

  The problem is present in natty and maverick.
