[Bug 884951] [NEW] /var/log/syslogand/var/log/partman

Im trying to install ubuntu 11.04 but it says: that they couldnt install the: /var/log/syslogand/var/log/partman 
so, then I try to go to my System (cause I Already have installed ubuntu 11.10) but I cant enter it says that the /var/lock is not mount, press S to Skip or M to mount it manually. I really need help. I dont know what to do.
