Status in “vim” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: vim

  When the appmenu, gvim without arguments will not show any menu:
  neither the normal menu nor the global menu.

  When using gvim -f to prevent gvim from going into background, the
  appmenu works fine
