Title:
Update manager's "Applying changes" window is too small.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: update-manager

When, in Karmic (9.10), there are updates available and they are
updated using "Update manager", after downloading all the packages, a
"Applying changes" window appears. So far so good. The problem is
that, when the user clicks "Details", the window is so narrow that no
one can read the information appearing on the terminal! And it is
  impossible to resize that window!

My suggestion is to let the user resize the window or at least make
the window wider so that the user can read what's going on.

  Thanks.
