Hi again Arne, thanks for posting back! The reinstall will actually work
quickly as you now have this package in your local apt cache. All signs
are that this was the result of a network problem that interrupted the
download. It was a good idea to use apt-get install directly to get the
package and I'm glad that worked (though I suspect that it would have
worked in Software Center for your second try).

The good news is that you got the game that you paid for! I hope you
enjoy. :)

Oh, and btw we are working on making the reporting of issues and
problems much easier to do for these purchased apps. I would expect that
this process will be much more straightforward by the time Oneiric
ships.

If you don't mind, I will set the bug to invalid since it appears to
have been a legitimate network issue. If you have any other issues,
please don't hesitate to reopen this or open a new bug.

And thanks very much for your help!

Title:
  Bought software fails to install

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
I bought "Steel Storm" from the ubuntu software center but it failed
to install ( for unknown reason, I did not see an error message but
the software was not installed after a while and there was no ongoing
  installation in the software center).

I tried to reinstall via: "File/reinstalled purchased software..." (
or similar, I am using the German version ). It asks for my Ubuntu
Single Sign On credentials but fails to login with "Method CreateItem
  with signature 'a{sv}(oayay)b' on interface
  org.freedesktop.Secret.Collection doesn't exist"

Also there is now an "Install" button in the entry for "Steel Storm"
but if I click that, the installation fails saying it can not install
  from an untrusted source.
