Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Reviewing your log files attached to this bug report it
seems that there is a problem with your installation media (CD/DVD) or
with your hardware. Please retry your installation with new media and
if it still fails I'd recommend testing your memory. In the event that
is is not in fact an error with your installation media or hardware
please set the bug's status back to New. Thanks and good luck!

Title:
Ubuntu 11.04 USB instalation crashes when copying files
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: ubiquity
I have a Asus UL30V with duo boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu 10. I'm trying
to install Ubuntu 32bit over the the old Ubuntu partition by using a
2gb Kingston data traveler USB stick. I can run the live CD program
with no problems but when I try to install the new OS I get pretty
far, it says almost done copying files at the bottom installation
status bar( about 95%) it crashes.
