  command editor broken

Status in “grub2” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  to reproduce

  1) boot to grub
  2) press e (assuming you are on your default kernel entry)
  3) press Down a few times until you are on the line starting linux
  4) press End

  Result: cursor is wpositioned somewhere in the middle of the line and
  editing no longer happens at the cursor. The editor is then broken
  until closed and open again.

  Expected: End moves logical *and* visible cursor at the end of the
  line

  Workaround: press Down one more time and then press Left
