Title:
Progress bar appears at inappropriate time during purchase
  installation

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  In Progress

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: software-center

  Software Center version 3.1.20

This issue was originally reported by mpt as part of bug 641437, but
these are really separate bugs so we can track them as such. From the
  original report description:

  For a purchase item:
  0. Clear any authentication privileges, if necessary.
  1. Navigate to the software item screen for a purchase item.
  2. Choose "Buy", and complete the payment.
  3. Authenticate.
What happens: 2. A progress bar bounces in the background while the authentication dialog is up.

  What should happen:
  2. The progress bar does not appear while the authentication dialog is up.
  3. The progress bar appears immediately once you have authenticated.
