Ubuntu software center doesn't follow gnome proxy settings auth.

Hi, I'll get straight to the point.

USC doesn't follow gnome proxy settings in terms of auth. info. It
always gives me proxy auth error when I'm behind a proxy. I have a
workaround but still this is a bug to be reported.

I'm using karmic koala (I update everyday.. it hasn't been fixed yet).
I don't know about lucid builds I tried the alpha but didn't check
  this specific problem.

For whom may want to use the workaround. I installed the package cntlm
and configured it to provide me a local proxy 127.0.0.1:3128 without
auth. while cntlm Auth with my proxy and give me a non auth proxy. I
used that in gnome settings and that's it.

I hope this is fixed before lucid. Thanks
