SystemError: E:I wasn't able to locate file for the linux-image-3.0.0-0300rc4-generic package. This might mean you need to manually fix this package.

The error is not with flash but linux-image-3.0.0-0300rc4-generic, if
you have another official kernel installed could you please try to
remove linux-image-3.0.0-0300rc4-generic and try software-center again.

Open a terminal and run the command:
$ sudo apt-get remove --purge linux-image-3.0.0-0300rc4-generic 
$ sudo apt-get update

Then launch s-c again. If the apt command to remove the package doesn't
work, try with dpkg.
