Bug description:

I installed Ubuntu 10.04.1 in a virtual machine (VMware Workstation
7.1.3 build-324285 under Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit) and ran Update
Manager for the first time. After I opted to skip Grub installation
as the packages were being installed a crash report was generated. (I
hope the relevant information is attached.)
