Title:
Update manager could not install upgrades

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: update-manager

While upgrading to Kubuntu 11.04 via the GUI, I got the following message:
"The upgrade has aborted. Your system could be in an unusable state. A recovery will run now (dpkg --configure -a). Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the fiiles in /var/log/dist-upgrade/ in the report. E:Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)"

Also, I could not copy this text from the error report and had to re-
type it here manually. Plus, the "Report bug" button opened Opera, but
  my default browser is Chromium.
