That is actually a problem with focus stealing and plasma netbook in

   affects ubuntu/ubiquity

  ubiquity-frontend-kde version 1.99.6

  Under KNE, the installer should appear fullscreen / above everything else when
  it is run. At the moment, one needs to go Alt-Tab to make it appear.
