Title:
software centre hangs after startup
Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Binary package hint: software-center
After starting software centre it hangs, showing the busy circly thing and 'Loading categories'. The window remains active and I can choose from the catagories in the side bar, like Canonical, for sale, Installed software etc, but the main window stays blank.
The only category that does work is 'history'.
