Mario, thanks for your comment, that really is a great idea! However, it
appears from the Google Translate API page that the API is now
deprecated and is apparently going to be shut down completely on Dec. 1
of 2011:

Ah well, it was a great idea nevertheless. Thanks again!

Title:
should not limit reviews and ratings by locale

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: software-center

This may work well for the large languages, but for the smaller ones
it does more harm that good.

In my language (nb_NO) there's two reviews for Firefox, two for gimp,
and that's pretty much it. And all of those are written in English!
Based on the fact that android market, with a much larger userbase
than Ubuntu, does the same thing, I can assure you that there will not
be a sufficient amount of reviews to make this feature as useful as it
  could be.

What I'd expect to see with my locale is those written in nb, nn and
  en. Preferably sorted.
