Title:
Imagemagick should recommend/suggest ufraw
Status in “imagemagick” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Status in “imagemagick” package in Debian:
Unknown
Bug description:
Binary package hint: imagemagick
Description: Ubuntu 8.04.1
Release: 8.04
imagemagick:
Installed: 7:6.3.7.9.dfsg1-2ubuntu1
When trying to use the "display"-command in imagemagick to show a RAW-file from a digital camera imagemagick complains that it can't find the executable "ufraw-batch" (in the ufraw package).
I realize that since imagemagick is in main it can't depend on ufraw, and I don't know if it can recommend it either, since recommendations are installed automatically. But there should at least be some kind of hint from the package description that it might need ufraw to handle RAW-files from digital cameras.
